Our courses require real-time communication through with classes hosted on a video conferencing platform. Students are strongly encouraged to be on camera during class sessions. Primary communication will occur over email, Slack, and Notion, and students are expected to regularly check these platforms throughout the course in order to receive key announcements and updates as well as to communicate with their instructors.
Students must:
✨ have reliable access to the internet.
✨ have a laptop or computer that is able to run the appropriate game engine on Windows.
✨ install the engine prior to the first class session.
✨ have a working webcam and microphone on their computer or phone which can be used during class time.
✨ have a mouse (not just a trackpad) in order to work in the Unity engine and complete coursework.
✨ have at least 25 GBs of free space on their laptop or hard drive to store all project files for the course.
✨ occasionally share their screen to share updates on their work and troubleshoot bugs.
