CV/resumes from folks who are newer to the workforce are absolutely welcome as well. If you've never made a CV or resume before, here are some tools and tips that may be useful!‍

I've applied to IGM before, can I apply again?

Yes, we strongly encourage folks who applied before and weren't place in a cohort to apply again. Many students have been placed in a cohort after applying several times. If you have received a scholarship for a previous IGM cohort, you may apply again for a paid seat in an IGM using a different engine. For example, if you received a scholarship for IGM with Unreal, you may apply for a paid seat in IGM with Unity.

Is the curriculum focused more on programming or game design?

Our Introduction to Game Making course is a beginner-level class introducing students to game development in engine by creating small games. No prior knowledge of programming or game design is necessary for the course, and students will learn about both topics.
If you already have ample games experience in a non-programming capacity and are interested in learning Unity, Introduction to Game Making will be useful as a creative space, covering game design and career development.
